Access Statement for Bwthyn Cwch Y Gwenyn This Barn Conversion has been sympathetically restored using traditional methods and local materials. Some of the original beams have been left exposed to create aS character feel. Access is via a gravel driveway with a step down to the front door step. The ground floor has a open plan dining/lounge/kitchen with wooden floors and wood tongue and grooved panelled walls. French doors lead onto a decked area at the rear of the cottage. A wood burning stove is located at the lounge end of the open plan area and an open tread stair case leads to the first floor en-suite bedrooms. These are decorated in pale country colours with traditional legged and braced doors. The wooden bedroom floors have rugs. Good lighting is provided by down lighters and table lamps. A wide screen T.V. with teletex and remote control is provided. The is no public phone and electric sockets and light switches (except for work top level points in the kitchen area) are at approximately 450mm & 1400mm high. |
